Meet Your Retreat Host

Lynn Turcotte-Schuh
Lead Tender, Little Forest Farms
Lynn spends her days caring for animals, tending the garden, stewarding the land, nurturing her family, and learning - again and again - how to return home to herself.
Through the daily rhythms of tending chickens, rabbits, soil, seasons, and relationships, Lynn has come to see the natural world as a quiet teacher of courage, simplicity, and inner wisdom.
Lynn believes that the practice of tending - whether animals, plants, family, land, or self - offers powerful reminders about how to live with greater intention and alignment.
Her message is simple but profound: You don’t need acreage or animals to feel rooted in joy and simplicity - you can be rooted anywhere.

This is not a space that asks you to perform or push through. It’s a space to notice, breathe, and gently experiment with practices that might make everyday life feel a little more simple and nourishing.
Come as you are. That is enough.
You are welcome exactly as your life is.
Children, background noise, interruptions - real life happens. Rooted Retreat is not about creating a perfectly quiet environment. It’s about learning how to find steadiness, simplicity, and joy in the midst of real life.
If that means you’re listening while folding laundry, stepping away to tend to a child, or participating with the sounds of your home around you, that’s okay.
This retreat is not about escaping your life. It’s about learning to live it more gently and intentionally - right where you are.
