Zoey is a one-year-old Yellow Partridge Dutch Bantam who may be tiny in size but is overflowing with personality. She’s the kind of hen who always finds the sunny spot in the coop, chirps a cheerful greeting when she sees us coming and somehow manages to sneak into every photo we take on the farm.

Her calm curiosity makes her the peacekeeper of the flock - often the first to investigate anything new and the last to leave when the excitement settles.

She’s happiest perched on a shoulder or tucked in under our chins getting lots of kisses...always perfectly content to be part of the rhythm of daily chores.

This month, Zoey reminds us that presence doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. Her gentle nature is a quiet invitation to slow down, breathe deeply and find joy in the simplest moments.
